Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026 · Version 2026-10-24
These Terms are an agreement between you and DealDrop ("DealDrop", "we") for using 18-219-194-169.sslip.io and the DealDrop iPhone app. Please read section 16: it requires disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration rather than in court or class actions, unless you opt out.
1. Agreement
By creating an account, signing in, or using DealDrop, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use DealDrop. Business owners also agree to the Business Terms.
2. Who can use DealDrop
Anyone may browse. To create an account you must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Give accurate information, keep one account, and keep access to your email or phone secure: anyone who can receive your sign-in codes can use your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.
3. What DealDrop is, and isn't
DealDrop is a platform where independent local businesses list themselves and post offers, announcements and events. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a business, we don't sell their goods or services, and we don't employ or act as agent for any business.
Businesses are responsible for their listings, offers, prices, products, services, licences and conduct. We review businesses and posts before they go live, but we can't confirm every detail and don't guarantee that any offer will be available, honoured, accurate, or suitable for you.
Listings of lawyers, CPAs, tax preparers, realtors, insurance agents, health providers and other professionals are not recommendations, referrals or endorsements, and nothing on DealDrop is legal, tax, financial, medical or other professional advice. Check licences with the official regulator before hiring anyone.
A "Verified" badge means DealDrop staff checked certain information the business gave us at that time. It isn't a guarantee of licence, quality, or results.
Listings marked "Sample" are examples that show how DealDrop works. They are not real businesses or offers and can't be claimed.
4. Offers, passes and callback requests
- Each offer is made by the business and is subject to the terms it states and to the business's own policies. Offers may be limited in quantity, time, location, or to one per person.
- Translations, price comparisons and read-aloud are conveniences. Translations are made by software and may contain mistakes; the English post is the offer the business made. A price comparison is an estimate from other posts on DealDrop, not a guarantee of the lowest price.
- Passes have no cash value, can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and are void where prohibited, after they end, or if obtained by fraud or in breach of these Terms.
- A business may refuse a pass it reasonably believes is misused, duplicated or expired. Any dispute about an offer, product or service is between you and the business.
- Callback requests send your name, phone number and message to the business you choose so it can contact you about your request.
- Event details and ticket links are provided by organisers. Tickets are sold by the organiser or a ticketing site, not by DealDrop.
5. Points and rewards
Points are a promotional feature with no cash value. They aren't your property, can't be sold or transferred, and can't be exchanged for cash. We may change how points are earned or redeemed, change or end rewards, or end the program, with notice in the app. We may remove points earned through error, fraud or misuse. Rewards are provided by participating businesses and are subject to their terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law, or use DealDrop for fraud, scams or deceptive practices;
- create fake or multiple accounts, impersonate anyone, or misrepresent a business connection;
- claim passes you don't intend to use, claim them for resale, or otherwise abuse offers, points or referrals;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content;
- file false reports or misuse the reporting system;
- scrape, crawl, or collect data from DealDrop by automated means, or use bots;
- interfere with or disrupt DealDrop, probe or attack its security, or bypass rate limits or other protections;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell DealDrop or its content except as the law allows.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit (such as reports, messages, and business listings, photos and posts). You give DealDrop a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example resize), display and distribute that content to operate, improve and promote DealDrop, for as long as it is on DealDrop and for a reasonable time after for backups and legal records. You confirm you have the rights needed to give this licence and that your content doesn't violate anyone's rights or the law.
We may review, refuse, edit for format, or remove content, and we may keep records of removed content where needed for safety or legal reasons.
8. Promoted content
Some posts are promoted by the business and are always labelled "Promoted". Promotion affects placement only; it isn't an endorsement by DealDrop.
9. Links and third parties
DealDrop links to websites, maps, ticket sellers and other services we don't control. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies, and we aren't responsible for them.
10. DealDrop's rights
DealDrop, its software, design, logos and the "DealDrop" name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, revocable licence to use DealDrop as these Terms allow. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Copyright and other complaints
If you believe content on DealDrop infringes your copyright, email dallasdealdrop@gmail.com with: your contact details; a description of the work; the page address of the material; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorised; a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove the material and, where appropriate, end the accounts of repeat infringers. For other legal complaints, use the same address or the Report buttons.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using DealDrop and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, remove content, or cancel passes or points if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or the law, created risk for others, or if we stop offering DealDrop. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 7, 10, 13–17) survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
DEALDROP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT DEALDROP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY LISTING, OFFER, BUSINESS, PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, AVAILABLE, LAWFUL, SAFE OR SATISFACTORY. YOUR DEALINGS WITH BUSINESSES ARE SOLELY BETWEEN YOU AND THEM.
Some places don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEALDROP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OPPORTUNITY, OR FOR ANY ACT, OMISSION, PRODUCT, SERVICE OR OFFER OF ANY BUSINESS OR OTHER USER, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO DEALDROP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO DEALDROP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
These limits apply to every theory of liability and even if we were told a loss was possible. They don't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids limiting it.
15. Indemnity
If you use DealDrop in breach of these Terms or the law, or your content infringes someone's rights, you agree to defend and indemnify DealDrop against resulting claims, damages and reasonable costs, including legal fees, to the extent permitted by law.
16. Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver
Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, email dallasdealdrop@gmail.com with a description of the dispute and what you want. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and DealDrop agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or DealDrop will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in Dallas County, Texas or your county of residence if it qualifies. Either of us may seek court relief to protect intellectual property.
CLASS-ACTION AND JURY WAIVER: YOU AND DEALDROP MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, AND YOU AND DEALDROP WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
Opting out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing dallasdealdrop@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name, account email or phone, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out doesn't affect the rest of these Terms.
If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be heard in court, not arbitration. If any other part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
17. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to section 16, any court proceeding will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you and DealDrop consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, where the law allows that limit.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use DealDrop after the effective date means you accept the update. Changes won't apply to disputes already notified to us.
19. General
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and (for businesses) the Business Terms are the entire agreement between you and DealDrop about DealDrop. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the iPhone app or its content.
